Halo 3 to be released in May 2006

According to BestBuy, Halo 3 for Xbox 360 will be release on May 15th, 2006. This date is much earlier than what the previous rumors had indicated, expecting it will debut together with the Halo movie in 2007. At this point, Microsoft has not confirmed the release date yet. However on BestBuy’s website, they have put the date as the release date on their pre-order page. They are accepting pre-order for $59.99.
