Keyrings that backup your SIM Card

Here’s another product that works similarly to the USB SIM card reader/writer unit we mentioned last week – a SIM card keyring that acts as a portable data bank without the help of a PDA or PC. Just pop in your SIM card to copy or backup the contact list.

The black Sim Card Backup from Thumbs Up UK Ltd and the one white/silver Texet Sim Bank Keyring are on sale at Ryman (UK) for £2.99 (normal price is £5.99). The former has a memory limit of 250 contacts, while the latter’s memory is yet unknown.
