After inventing the Gorone Desk, Japanese company Thanko has invented a special Gorene Mouse to be used together with the Gorone Desk (gorone is a Japanese word that means to “lie down and take a nap”), so you can surf the web or do whatever with your laptop computer while lying down comfortably in your bed.

This unit is a wireless double faced mouse with a 400/800 dpi optical sensor, you can use it as a regular mouse when you’re working at your desk. But when it is turned upside down it can be controlled by moving the thumb over the optical sensor, therefore you don’t need a flat surface to use the mouse.

The Goreno Mouse has a working range of 7 – 8 meters from its USB stand, which is connected to your computer. So if your desktop is connected to a large screen, you can also enjoy using the Goreno mouse in your bed or sofa from a distance. The USB stand also serves as the charger for the mouse. The mouse itself measures 122 X 64 X 39mm and weighs 100 g including the battery. It is compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000/XP, as well as Mac OS 9.x/X.

The retail price of this unit is 3,980 Yen (US$35).
