The Philips Readius is a flexible electronic paper that is manufactured by a Philips subsidiary, Polymer Vision. This piece of technology is based on organic/polymer TFTs and applied to a plastic substrate via a low temperature method. When combined, they are only 25 µm thick! I still can’t come to terms with the idea of a flexible screen though…somebody pinch me! UberGizmo ran a story regarding somewhat similar technology a while back – check it out here.
