Sony Cybershot R1

Sony premiered its Sony Cybershot R1, the world’s first 10.3 effective mega-pixel digital still camera. It combines a mammoth 10.3 mega-pixel CMOS sensor with a high quality 24mm-120mm ZEISS zoom lens within the same body, giving the user the freedom to experience ‘live’ viewing with the free-angle LCD display. Shots are sharp and neat, while the Memory Stick/Memory Stick PRO/CF slots provide greater flexibility when it comes to expanding your memory options. The R1 is a job well done by Sony.
