The Sony RDR-AX75 video recorder can store MPEG-4 videos (H.264 encoding) no its 250GB hard drive and burn them to Dual-Layers DVDs, but what really sets it apart is that these videos can be copied via the integrated Memory Stick Duo slot into a card, then replayed “as is” on the Sony PSP portable console. It’s a nice initiative from Sony, one that competitors did not see coming. Note that the Firmware 2.0 is required to use these video files.
