As the player, you can assume the role of over 20 classic characters with 3 new ones thrown into the fray. As with most games nowadays, you can create and customize your own character, choosing the gender, occupation, style, and even weapon. Unfortunately for most gamers, Soul Calibur 3 is available on the PS2 exclusively.
