
Getting through the security perimeter in buildings can be such a hassle at times, and on the management’s part there is the issue of rising costs and complex upgrades to negotiate and implement. Researchers at the Fraunhofer Institute have created an amalgamation of all cameras, buzzers, keypads, motion detectors, RFID readers and intercoms into a wireless integrated door station, combining it with a door handle that can be installed in existing and future buildings at a “minimal” (hum…) cost.
