2nd generation iPod shuffle sees January debut

The already small iPod shuffle could see another round of reduction in size coupled with a choice of colors next January as Apple plans to reintroduce this wildly popular MP3 player. Analysts expect storage capacities and price points to remain at $99 for 512MB and $129 for the 1GB model. The current iPod shuffle is as big as a pack of gum, but the model refresh is touted to be smaller. Via Apple Insider
