Cingular and Motorola came up with a way to cut the price of the Motorola ROKR iTunes phone by 40 percent. I think that the main issue is that people just don’t want the phone. It is too limited (100 songs) and quite frankly not very attractive, look-wise. On top of that, it seems that people are having difficulties to use it with iTunes.
In any case, the Motorola RAZR is selling 6 times more units, mainly because of its look. Good design sells. Not having a crappy phone: priceless.
