Texas Instruments aims to miniaturize projectors with their new range of pocket DLP (Digital Light Processing) models. The ubiquitous lamp has been replaced with LED technology, lending the benefits of a smaller and lighter end product that emits very little heat. A trio of DLP Pocket projectors will arrive on UK shores next month and will retail between £500 and £800. Samsung, Mitsubishi, and Toshiba will also debut their models next month. Note that the brightness is around 20 Lumens, which is really low. A regular low-end projector has 800 lumens, and that’s barely enough with ambient lighting…Via TechDigest
