UN net summit debuts OLPC $100 laptop

Concept design for the $100 laptop was unveiled at the UN net summit, showing some changes that increased the durability of the machine. The partially functioning prototype was encased in rubber and sported a 500MHz processor, mesh networking capabilities, and a quartet of USB ports.
