Georgia Tech unveils gesture-based cameraphone games

Taking a leaf from the Nintendo Revolution’s controller textbook, Georgia Tech’s Mobile Technology Group have announced their set of games on the cell phone platform that requires physical gesture interactions. It makes use of the cell phone’s camera as a motion detector to provide up to 6 degrees of freedom. 3 prototype games have been developed so far, including a Pong game (single and multiplayer) and a Doodle game.
