
Rumors abound that Pentax and Samsung have started working on a new digital SLR camera under the Samsung GX1 moniker. Unofficial sources point to the GX1 being based on the Pentax *istDL camera, with no specifications in sight as at press time. Pentax’s expertise in high-performance interchangeable lenses and Samsung’s global market presence and increasing brand awareness bodes well for the GX1 when it is launched. Via Let’s Go Digital
