Mitsubishi Chemical Corp claims that its new organic light-emitting diode (OLED) device offers the highest efficiency in the world via its revolutionary blue phosphorescence OLED material. Produced by a wet-coating process, this breakthrough is expected to reinvent the way large, flat-panel displays are developed. The phosphorescent material within has four times more luminous efficiency in principle than that of fluorescent material. Being more efficient, power consumption is lowered while offering a greater degree of viewing quality. Via NE Asia Online
