A new music player from Sony, this time one for the road. The Giga Panel – a car stereo that holds 1GB of digital audio. Supports only MP3 format and nothing else, which is peculiar seeing as how ATRAC has always been favoured by Sony. A drag and drop interface, sound tracks can be moved around with simply Windows Explorer. A hefty price tag ($USD569) is a turn off though seeing as the price of high-capacity MP3 players have been dropping. Available in February 2006. Via dapreview.net
