Verizon Wireless´ GPS Navigation service launched

Verizon Wireless have joined Sprint, Nextel, and other carriers by offering GPS Navigation services to subscribers via the VZ Navigator service. At $10/month or $3/day prices, VZ Navigator uses Networks-in-Motion developed software, the AtlasBook to present the subscriber with specific coordinates. Its initial launch will work with the Motorola V325 only, although other phones launched next year will be compatible with VZ Navigator as well. This monthly fee is on a per phone basis with no discounted family plan in sight at the moment. PC Mag via Phone Arena
