CES 2006 showcased some rather forward looking technology, but the offering from HP comes across as practical and innovative. The printer in question is a wireless All-in-One printer powered by Alereon. Fully functional over a wireless connection, it even does scanning. Unfortunately, finalizing the MAC portion of wireless USB takes ages and the prototype module’s size took up the scanner’s space instead. Alereon’s booth displayed how they have miniaturized the WUSB module for a more practical fit. Via Everything USB
