Ever looked at Tablet PCs and wished that a Mac version wasin production? ThePlaceforitAll.com has converted a 12” G4 iBook into the iTab. The iTab shares the iBook’s 1.33GHz processor, 512MB RAM, 40GB HDD, Airport Extreme and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity. The 12” screen received a touch-sensitive panel to turn it into a touch screen, although Mac OS X’s InkWell is not supported. There is no warranty upon purchase, and only 100 iTabs (signed and numbered by the creator) will be produced. Bids start from $1500 upwards on eBay. Via Gadget Review
