
The Korean government has put forward its intention to being work on robots that ensure social safety is not compromised as early as this year. These robots will assist the nation in the following areas – public security, night patrols, military duties, and even prison work. In addition, the government will also plan to build an army of workhorse robots whose primary function is to perform load/unload tasks.
