Microsoft’s show of force with Playforsure – CES 2006

In the Microsoft Area, the software giant was showing all the players that were compatible with its Playforsure DRM (Digital Rights Management) system. And you know what? There’s a lot more devices than we thought! But as you all know, Apple is dominating the digital music market with only a handful of devices. It proves that the synergy between the devices, the software and the content has to be much better in order to create value. It’s too bad, because some of these Playforsure devices are really cool.
