Netflix extends HD-DVD support

Netflix, a company that is quick to capitalize on any profitable opportunities, has announced that it will offer HD_DVD and Blu-Ray movies for rent when launched in March later this year. Netflix Chairman and CEO Reed Hastings claim that the company has great expectations for both DVD formats to cause an entertainment explosion across living rooms around the world. One thing though, HD-DVD players are currently too expensive for the average Joe to justify watching movies on them. Yahoo! via First Adopter
