Panasonic displays DMFC-powered notebook at CES 2006

Panasonic’s DMFC (Direct Methanol Fuel Cell) powered laptop can run up to 20 hours on a full tank of fuel (around 6.75 ounces) before giving up its ghost. Slightly larger than a typical battery pack, it is half the size of currently available compatible devices. This development from Panasonic is a nudge in the right direction, as notebook users often complain about the lack of power when they need it most. CNet via Portable Gadgets
