Seagate struts Wireless USB HDD

Seagate and Wisair have teamed up to develop video streaming via a Wireless USB connection. This concept can maintain a 480Mbps link between a computer and a 500GB HDD over short distances. One can expect some video glitches as the distance between the computer and HDD increases, as the current USB-IF Wireless USB standard is still under development. Pretty interesting technology that will prove to be a hit when adopted by the mainstream consumers. Via Everything USB
