Skype on Pocket PC performs horribly

Skype has taken the world by storm on the desktop in homes and offices worldwide, but the Pocket PC version is just plain bad. Connection isn’t the culprit, but the sound quality is. You will find yourself croaking like a frog, with many breaks in between a sentence even over a WiFi network. Of course, it is bearable when running on a high end Pocket PC, but taking the majority of users who have the minimum specs into account, it is best to avoid this at the moment. Via Gear Log
