Sony’s PRS-500 Portable Reader System provides an enriching reading experience quite unlike those found on Tablet PC’s, notebooks, and PDAs. It utilizes “electronic paper technology” in the unit display, making the content appear in a similar manner to those found in real life books. It works perfectly indoors and outdoors, displaying RSS news feeds, blogs, and PDF. MP3 playback is supported when you need to take a break from all the text. The PRS-500 is due for release this spring at will retail for $349. Via Bargain PDA
