Cingular Launches Global 3G Plan

Cingular Wireless announced their plan to launch a new service for subscribers who often travel out of the country – GlobalConnect. There will be two plans, one for North America and one overseas. Both will feature unlimited data usage on EDGE and 3G networks and 100 MB worth of data roaming a month. The North America plan will cost $109.99 for Canada and Mexico while the overseas plan will be $139.99 for access in over two dozen countries. Via phone arena
