LG’s answer to its U880 will be the updated U890. The U890 is 18.2mm thick which makes it a pretty thin 3G device. The phone has a 128MB of memory, 68MB of which is user accessible, but a microSD expansion slot saves the day. One noticeable upgrade from the U880 would be the larger 262k color display and the metallic keypad (ala the RAZR). Other features are pretty much standard and unchanged, such as the 1.3-mp camera, Bluetooth and GPRS. The LG U890 will be available in Europe some time in March 2006.
