Sony VAIO VA1, What an Ugly Media Center

Sony has come up with amazing designs and is usually synonymous of style, but not this time. This Vaio VA1 Media Center PC is chunky, ugly and not very fast. On the paper, it’s not a bad machine. It has a dual-core 2.8Ghz CPU, a mid-range Graphics Processor (GPU), Digital Audio Out, a 250GB hard drive and a multi-format DVD writer. However, I would be hard-pressed to put this in my living room. The side view is definitely not flattering but it wouldn’t be so bad if the screen had a thin bezel, or at the least a black one (silver borders are somewhat distractive when watching a movie).
