50% of product returns caused by complexity

Reuters reports that the Technical University of Eindhoven, Netherlands, has discovered that the average man on the street think that consumer electronics that take more than 20 minutes to learn to operate is too complicated. Once they cannot figure it out, they will probably make a trip back to the store for a refund. We think so too, save for the current batch of digital cameras and camcorders that take at least double the time in its learning curve.
