Dell 2407WFP released in Japan

Dell Japan has released the 2407WFP yesterday, and it is nothing short of impressive. Boasting 1920 x 1200 native resolution, Dell has added HDCP, boosted its contrast ratio to 1000:1, offers a 500 cd/m2 brightness and a lightening fast 6ms response time. Visible angle is amazing at 178 degrees wide while the 4-in-1 card reader is retained. You can swivel the unit 90 degrees to create a portrait layout. It measures 559.7 x 387.9 x 195mm but weighs a surprisingly manageable 8.3kg with its 20mm thick bezel. Price : around $1300. 

The word on the street is that Dell is going to launch a 27” model that boasts the same 2560×1600 resolution that the 30” (Ubergizmo’s 3007WFP review) display, but at a much lower price. Sweet!
