CITIZEN’s new miniature robot, the Eco-Be! could be used in a new RoboCup league. This new league will offer a flexible and versatile augmented reality environment where real and simulated objects are able to interact with one another. The futbol pitch will be projected onto a table, while a camera monitors the players to an off-field ‘coach’ computer that subsequently sends instructions to the players via infrared sensors. A most interesting project.
