The Floor It! Project is meant to build a bridge between physical and virtual play for boys in the age mould of 7-10 years old. This project brings arcade car racing to life by letting the radio-controlled cars sense and react to actual race conditions like oil slicks, turbo power-ups, water hazards, and more. It is controlled via a revolutionary, lifelike free floating steering wheel. Kids rarely have the chance to socialize and play with each other in person since the Internet and video games caught on – hopefully this will reverse the trend.
