Fujitsu PalmSecure reads palm veins instead of prints

Forget thumbprint scanners – Fujitsu’s next generation computer authentication USB scanners reads palm veins instead, and has been dubbed PalmSecure. This non-invasive scanning process reads nearly-impossible-to-forge internal veins. The PalmSecure device measures just 35mm x 35mm, allowing easy transportation for a mobile biometric device. Targeted usage includes computer systems, ATM access, and security room authentication. If you happen to be in Japan, look out for these systems.
