Hitachi’s brightly colored (and rather gaudy, I must say) ED-X10 projector is chock full of security features that aims to prevent thievery. The transition detector locks the projector and requires a pin-code to resume operation when moved from its normal place. It even comes with an integral steel security bar that pins it down to a fixed point to combat brute force security. Other features include an instant power on/off button, whiteboard/blackboard/greenboard mode, and a remote control. Retailing around £700, the ED-X10 is great for schools, colleges, and universities.
