The LAN Cordless DUALphone is actually a session initiation protocol (SIP) device that comprises a combination of a generic phone connection, Internet telephony, and provides Web content storage. You can connect the base station to your everyday phone line and a broadband link simultaneously to receive calls from either channel. The screen is able to display news, e-mail, traffic updates or even sports results in real-time. Expect the DUALphone to come with 8 hours’ worth of talk time at a 300m range and enough memory to store 200 numbers
