The Lassen iQ FAT16 Datalogger from SFE is one great performer. It will datalog the entire gamut of GPS data including longitude, latitude, speed, altitude, etc. The 256MB SD card is able to store up to 440 hours of information using the FAT16 format. You can even record text and files automatically, and even tap into the wonder that is Google Earth. At $39, this GPS logger looks like a steal.
