This enables music data to be downloaded and played minus the copyright infringement. This translates into saved power that could allow up to 50 hours of continuous music playback with current resources. The potential for this chip is huge, considering the fact that most devices nowadays (cellphones, personal GPS systems) contain MP3 playback capabilities.
