Netgear and Design of Systems on Silicon (DS2) are working together to bring the 200Mbit/s Powerline HD technology to the masses. This will provide an affordable yet hi-quality broadband connection anywhere in the house without the need for unwieldy cables via any electrical outlet. The pioneer batch of Powerline-enabled products should ship in Q2 2006 via various consumer, reseller, and service provider channels.
