The ever efficient Germans have developed a lifelike prosthetic foot that will fool even the most ardent observer. Although it is purely mechanical, it doesn’t contain any elaborate electronics in order to function. This could be very well the first prosthetic foot that can imitate the natural sequence of movements during walking, enabling fresh amputees to learn how to walk again without any hassle. The limb’s design also allows a more natural gait as well.
