Solar-powered walls a novel way to conserve energy

With rising energy costs showing no signs of abating, we should do everything we can to conserve energy. The Japanese will construct a building that is able to autonomously illuminate its interior for 4.6 hours every night using the sun. Several wall sections in the building will contain transparent super-thin solar panels to achieve this energy conservation feat. Shimzu and Sharp are working together on this green building project.
