Sony UP-D75 Dye Sublimation printer laminates printouts

Inkjet printers might have come a long way in delivery some fantastic printouts, but they’re still not suitable for making hard copies of photos. Sony’s new UP-D75 Dye Sublimation printer not only prints crisp, clear pictures but laminates a clear finish onto the photo with a glossy, textured or matte finish. This prevents the photo from being smudged and covered with dirty fingerprints. It can print a 300dpi 8” x 10” page in 80 seconds. At $2995, its not cheap.
