Talking streetlights in Baltimore to prevent theft

Baltimore, Maryland has one of the more bizarre theft cases around the country. Some thieves had carted away 136 street lights during winter, forcing the city to purchase 5 solar-powered digital surveillance cameras at $5000 each. At that price, these cams will exclaim rather haughtily, “Stop! We have just taken your photograph. We will use this photograph to prosecute you. Leave the area now!” whenever its motion sensor is activated.
