Verizon opens Per-Day EV-DO Plan

Verizon has unveiled a new price structure for laptop users using EV-DO data access. New subscribers will pay $15 to enjoy unlimited, high-speed wireless access for 24 hours. Verizon plans to entice these day users to migrate to monthly plans after getting a taste of the service. Monthly fees cost $60 to $80, so sporadic users should stick to the per-day plan. This 24-hour access package is currently available to owners of the following laptops: Dell Latitude D620 and D820, Dell Precision M65, Lenovo Thinkpad Z60, T60 and X60, HP Compaq nc6140 and nc6320.
