Treonauts have written an interesting piece on converting your favorite DVDs so that you can carry and watch your favorite movies wherever you go. Just use your DVD converter of choice and save the end product into an appropriate SD card. An average length movie should take up 500MB of space or so. Surprisingly, video and sound quality is decent enough to tide you over, but if you’re a special effects buff, it would be best to avoid this method of watching movies. Get a portable DVD player instead.
