ActiveSync 4.2 Public Beta now available

If you’re a proud owner of a Windows Mobile 5.0 device and are courageous enough to run beta applications, Microsoft’s ActiveSync 4.2 Beta Preview is right up your alley. This latest sync software release offers a seamless synchronization experience between Windows Mobile-powered devices and a Windows-based PC. Not only does it sunchronize your Outlook information, Office documents, multimedia files, and applications, it synchronizes directly with Microsoft Exchange Server 2003 as well. It works best with Windows Mobile 5.0 devices, but those running on Windows Mobile 2003 should avoid it as there are no new features included, save the fact that your ability to sync through a network connection is disabled.
