Here’s a peek at Novatel’s X620 EV-DO ExpressCard/34 plugged into the sexy MacBook Pro. When commercially released, you can plug this baby into any notebook with an ExpressCard slot. So far notebook vendors like Apple, Dell, Lenovo, HP, and others already feature ExpressCard-only slots, paving the way for the future of high-speed cellular on notebooks. Novatel’s card is built with Sprint and Verizon networks in mind. Mac drivers are not shipped with the card – you will have to download them from Apple’s online update. The ExpressCard works like any other PC card when installed, just slot it in and you’re good to go.
