
Samsung has announced that their multifunction convergence device, the Q1, is available for pre-order at Expansys.com currently. The Q1 is actually a PDA, Tablet PC, portable multimedia player, GPS system, and storage device all rolled into one. It comes with 7″ WVGA touchscreen display, an Intel Celeron M 900MHz ULV processor, a 40GB HDD, 512MB DDR2 RAM, 802.11b/g, Bluetooth 2.0 w/stereo A2DP profile, AVS Now instant-on multimedia playback, and 3.5 hours of battery life. Expect to fork out around £800 GBP (~ $1390 USD) for a Samsung Q1.
