The Auto-TXT service is a marriage between a cellphone and Bluetooth technology to secure your car’s safety. Using a Bluetooth module from Ezurio, the Auto-TXT system is programmed to recognized your Bluetooth-enabled cellphone which subsequently acts as a secondary key to the vehicle. The car will automatically search for your cellphone when it starts. Even when the proper keys are used, if the cellphone cannot be found, the vehicle is considered stolen. You can then track it down via conventional methods or disable it remotely. The Auto-TXT is expected to cost between £500 and £600, with Remote Disable feature included in the more expensive choice.
