Fashion wins! The ChronicleHerald.ca has a report on the insecticide permethrin-treated shirt. It is now available for consumers and purportedly helps ward off mosquitos with few ill-effects. Tommy Hilfiger has a line of twill golf shorts and cotton polo shirts treated with the insecticide, while Ex Officio and L. L. Bean offer other treated items for general use. Effective up to 25 washings, it might not be as cost effective as the Anti-Mosquito Necklace.
